Under the circumstances of Furnace Regenerators are under performing, usually caused by sulphate deposits blocking the checkers, it is advised to use Heat Advance’s high velocity burners and placed it under the regenerator arch to melt down the sulphate deposits.

In some cases where the depositing materials are a mixture of sulphate and the batch carry over, a premeditated analytical decision has to be made, based upon the percentage of both materials. These will ensure for melting the depositing material without damaging the refractory.
